17th May - little ANGEL

I went out for dinner last night for a friend's birthday. Mum was here to mind the girls but given that Stephi has been in feeding frenzy mode of an evening I took her with me.

She actually fell asleep at home before we left and slept after I transferred her into the car. She woke when we got into the city and was awake while we walked to the restaurant, waited for the others and carried her and her pram down the stairs into the restaurant She then had a good look around, checked everyone out and fell asleep - no sound from her. I wrapped her half heartedly thinking she'd wake again and put her in the pram......

We got home at a bit after 11 and she had been carried back up the stairs in the pram, wheeled back through the city, put back into her car seat and driven home all sound asleep! She woke after I'd put her in the cot and fed then before going back to sleep until 7 this morning.

I am so thrilled with that because had I left her at home I would have been wondering what she was doing and whether she needed a feed etc but having her right beside me asleep in the pram meant I REALLY enjoyed my evening out
