Ashleigh made her own rice cakes earlier - one vegemite and one jam
I went to clean up and there is vegemite in the butter, butter in the vegemite, butter in the jam (brand new jar) and vegemite in the jam! There is also vegemite, jam and butter all over the bench
But hey, she was happy and ate a decent lunch for a change so not too many complaints here
Gabriella on the other hand is smeared with butter all over her clothes that we were supposed to be going out wearing.... well, she was
And now SHE is looking for the knife to make her own rice cake too! Monkey see, monkey do
Update....
Its really hard some times to just relinquish control and let them go for it knowing the mess you'll have to clean up later. You should see my kitchen bench now that G has finished - cut up bits of rice cake over the entire surface
Also trying to stop myself stepping in when A is doing craft stuff. She made b'day cards for tomorrow's party with sticky letters. One reads "Happ biyrthday" and the other reads something in russian I think! I had laid out the letters for her to stick down but she played card shuffle with them
I'll take photos once she's written them as well
