26th May - 2.5 months already

And fark me hasn't that gone fast?!

Thought I'd do a quick update... knowing me it will end up being huge

Basics:

Day sleep - totally shit. I think today she might have slept 40 mins in TOTAL during the day and by 5.30 she was absolutely feral. She ended up going to bed at 6.15 because she was asleep feeding then

Night sleep - awesome. Two nights in a row of 11 hours which is 8pm until about 7am which is perfect. Tonight will be interesting.

Achievements - nothing new for a while but very deliberate with rolling from front to back, grinning enormously and little giggles.

I think we're due for a CHN check up at the end of June and am not planning to weigh her before then. I can tell she is gaining weight, she feeds like a champ and has plenty of soaking wet nappies - lucky to make it to 2 hours in cloth at the moment!

Adores her big sisters and had a real little conversation with Ashleigh the other day Got some cute photos but forgot to upload those ones so will try to remember to share another time

So basicaly daytime is incredibly frustrating with her not sleeping but she can be kept entertained in her swing or having some floor time or having some cuddles for the most part. At the same time I am prepared for this trade off if I'm getting sleep at night

The best part is that I get to read at night because she isn't bothered by the bedside lamp Amazing how good it feels to be able to get back into reading again!


Update - 27th May
Surprisingly last night was awesome too! She woke at 6.30 and spent a few minutes waking up before she started snuffling that she wanted a feed! Back in bed again at 7 so the other girls could come in for cuddles
