Every morning as I sit in the lounge I can tell when its 7.40 without even looking at the clock. You see, there is a guy who drives a Hyundai Getz who leaves home at around this time every morning (except Sunday). He comes out of the laneway that runs beside the other side of the duplex and HAMMERS THE SHIT out of his car. The poor little engine whines like mad until he eventually changes gears and then it roars and whines more.
I don't understand people who thrash their vehicles. I mean, surely you have spent money on something that should last you a reasonable amount of time so treat it with some respect. Of course, everyone has days where they are feeling cranky and perhaps driving a bit recklessly but not EVERY.SINGLE.MORNING!
Its really getting a bit old!
