At 4.5 months Stephi is officially rolling. She had rolled from her tummy to her back a few times way back in the piece but has been very deliberately attempting to roll for the last few days or so.
Yesterday she managed it. Was quite funny too because she rolled herself onto her caterpillar and her bum and legs were stuck up in the air. She just kept rocking until I moved him away. So pleased with herself. A short time later she rolled back onto her back again
The best part is that I was being snap happy and got some photos and video of her rolling. She now thinks she's the cleverest little cookie. As I'm typing this she is on her tummy, looking at herself in her mirror and poking out her tongue and blowing raspberries with the biggest grins.
She's also been trying to push herself up onto her knees a bit lately and if on her back will push herself around a bit with her legs. She can also lift her bum off the ground so is supported just by her heels and head/shoulders. Quite cute watching her do that in the bath
Speaking of which, guess I had better be even more attentive now with her desire to roll!
