Kindy photos!

It feels quite strange to even think but I'm actually a "school mum"! Is it sad that I've taken lots of photos on her first two days? Obviously, everyone takes photos on their first day but I found myself feeling compelled to take photos again this morning! It was helped a bit by her baby sister wearing a very cute little dress that was made for A when she was tiny that was in material I strongly associate with my own school dresses!



So this is first day of kindy. Starting the day by crossing off that final sleep on the countdown calendar


My very happy but far too grown up little lady all dressed and excited!


Even more excited when it was finally time to get her bag and get into the car ready to go.


And this morning, the two girls "together" - about as good as it gets for photos these days!

Today was the first day of having the whole class there and it seemed to have gone well. She was once again a very happy little girl when I picked her up although a little confused when she couldn't see Nan or G as I'd said we would all come back to pick her up. Luckily she quickly accepted that G was asleep in the car so Nan had stayed with her!

And now I have a "booklist" of sorts to complete. Just basic items like tissues etc that they ask all parents to provide. Super simple to shop for. Oh yeah, also have to go pay fees! Thankfully ours is a "cheap" kindy and it will be $40 for the year - cheaper than playgroup.
